About

Department of Communities awarded a contract to Living Proud (Living Proud Incorporated) for consultation and advisory support services relating to the development and implementation of a state LGBTQIA+ Inclusion Strategy.

The contractor provided a representative for the reference group, supported community consultation and engagement to inform the strategy's development, and built capacity across the sector to enable successful delivery of actions in the accompanying Action Plan.

The contractor connected with members to support consultations with the LGBTQIA+ community, service providers, and others, and promoted other methods of inviting feedback across the state.

Collaboration with other organizations and individuals ensured wide coverage and multiple input methods.

The contractor continued to provide support following the strategy's release to assist implementation of actions.
