The contract covered a combined length of 4 km and included reclaiming, re-formation and compaction of the existing road; extraction and processing of natural gravel materials from a gravel pit on Ringwood Road to achieve a Type 2 material; and hauling, placing, shaping and compacting of the Type 2 material to form a 200 mm thick pavement.

All works were required to be completed to DLI standard CS-3609 and in accordance with DLI standard drawing CS-3609.
