Public Transport Authority awarded a contract to Track PM (Track PM Pty Ltd) for Coordinating Project Engineer services to support the Project Manager and Delivery Manager on the Nowergup Depot Railcar Modification Shed project.
The scope included providing engineering expertise, leadership, and management to ensure new infrastructure is designed and constructed in accordance with project assurance objectives and the PTA Engineering Management for Projects (EM4P) process.
The consultant was required to liaise with the head D&C contractor to ensure integrated works, lead application of the EM4P framework, perform the Coordinating Project Engineer role, provide multi-disciplinary technical expertise, ensure compliance with Railway Safety Management requirements, and lead meetings and workshops.
This contract reflects the PTA's reliance on specialized engineering consultants to manage complex rail infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with safety and assurance frameworks.
