About
Department of Logistics and Infrastructure awarded a contract to Wilga Indigenous Corporation for the provision of external works and security upgrades to Government Employee Housing (GEH) in the Tennant Creek region.
The contract covered installation of fencing, concrete paths, driveways, a clothesline with concrete pad, site levelling, and the supply and planting of trees for six recently constructed dwellings at Alpurrurulam and one dwelling at Ali Curung.
It also covered security upgrades to GEH homes in Alpurrurulam, including new or replacement sensor lights, locks, security screens, and minor repairs and maintenance.
Wilga Indigenous Corporation, an Indigenous supplier, was engaged to complete external finishing works for newly constructed GEH lots and deliver targeted security improvements to existing homes in remote communities, indicating procurement focused on both asset completion and resident safety.
