About

Primary Industries and Regions South Australia awarded a contract to Globus Australia Accommodation Services for the provision of prefabricated modular units to deliver the proposed mobile blowfly Sterile Insect Technology (SIT) production facility.

The contract covered suppliers experienced in prefabricated modular design and delivery of multiple, innovative modular units configured for assembly on Kangaroo Island to support a mobile SIT production capability.

The original EOI associated with the requirement had sought to determine industry interest and willingness, identify market capability and supply means, identify companies able to meet key project criteria, provide equal opportunity within local industry, and establish a shortlist for tender dependent on the EOI outcome.
