Main Roads Western Australia awarded a contract to BMD Construction Pty Ltd for the design and construction of widening the Kwinana Freeway northbound between Russell Road and the Thornlie Line Rail Tunnel, south of the Freight Rail and Roe Highway.
Works included freeway widening, collector/distributor roads and associated ramps, full depth asphalt pavement design, noise walls, road lighting, retaining walls, and Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS).
