About

The scope includes developing, designing, and constructing the Roe Highway/Great Eastern Highway Bypass interchange, Abernethy Road/Lloyd Street/Great Eastern Highway Bypass interchange, upgrading the Great Eastern Highway Bypass (Abernethy Road to Roe Highway), upgrading Roe Highway, extending Lloyd Street including a bridge over the Helena River, and duplicating Abernethy Road between Adelaide Street and south of Dundas Road.
The project requires prequalification in Roadworks Category R5 and Bridgework Category B3, and compliance with the Building Code 2016 and the Australian Government Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme.
This contract consolidates major road and bridge upgrades under a single alliance, reflecting a trend towards integrated delivery models for complex infrastructure projects in Western Australia.
