About
The Public Transport Authority awarded a contract to ADCO Constructions Pty Ltd for the design and construction of a new Public Transport Operations Control Centre (PTOCC) in Perth.
The facility will support the High Capacity Signalling Project, which replaces the existing rail network signalling with a Communications Based Train Control (CBTC) system.
The PTOCC will house the Network Control Centre, train control support, central monitoring, signalling equipment, and office accommodation, operating 24/7 to enhance capacity and resilience.
This contract reflects the PTA's strategic investment in modernizing rail control infrastructure to accommodate future network expansion and higher capacity operations.
