Queensland Rail is seeking suppliers for the establishment of a Network Safeworking Services Panel to provide safeworking personnel across the Queensland Rail network. The new panel will replace the existing arrangement that expires at the end of October 2027, with the new arrangement expected to commence following expiry. Services may include Rail Corridor Protection Officers (RCPOs), Lookouts, Handsignallers, Protection Officers (POs), Protection Officers Plus (PO+) and Possession Protection Officers (PPOs); suppliers must ensure personnel hold and maintain the applicable competencies, accreditations and requirements relevant to the services being performed.
