Public Transport Authority awarded a contract to RMC Rail Services Pty Ltd for the design and delivery of safeworking and rail safety training.
The PTA's People & Organisational Development division was responsible for providing safeworking training to PTA employees and external third-party contractors involved in maintenance of the urban rail network.
The training provided the evidence required to obtain a Rail Industry Worker card that allowed access to the rail corridor to conduct approved work.
The PTA Learning & Organisational Development section engaged RMC Rail Services to collaborate on course design and to deliver the training.
The award formalized PTA's use of an external specialist to centralise safeworking course design and delivery for both staff and contractors, ensuring alignment with Rail Industry Worker card requirements.
