About
Department of State Growth awarded a contract to Shaw Contracting (Aust) Pty Ltd for the Midland Highway 10 Year Upgrade South Section Project under an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) model.
The project aims to upgrade the highway to a minimum AusRAP 3-star safety rating through road widening, pavement repairs, drainage upgrades, sealing, line marking, and installation of safety barriers and signage.
The contractor will contribute to design development and subsequent construction of the South Final Stage zones.
ECI contracts are increasingly used for complex infrastructure projects to leverage contractor expertise early, reducing risks and cost overruns.
