Programmed Facility Management awarded a contract to Hellwig Electrical Contractors Pty Ltd atf the Danny Hellwig Electrical Contractors Trust (Danny Hellwig Electrical Contractors Trust) for the electrical upgrade at Shelley Primary School.

The work included removal and disposal of redundant services (switchboards and existing submains cabling and conduit systems); coordination with Western Power and liaison, application and payment for Western Power disconnect and reconnect for site main switchboard works; addition and modification of circuit breakers on the existing site main switchboard including coring of concrete plinths for new conduit entries; replacement of the B Block building main switchboard; submains and earthing works; installation of conduit and pit systems including trenching and/or boring and surface reinstatement; reconnection of existing circuits with on-site auditing; relabeling of existing circuits and equipment using IPA markers; provision of temporary power (generator hire) for security services and during Western Power disconnect/reconnect as required; testing and commissioning; and preparation of as-constructed drawings.
