About
Western Australia Police Force awarded a contract to Akkodis Australia Consulting Pty Ltd for an initial engagement of two Project Manager resources to support the WA Police Force Technology Portfolio.
The engagement was to operate in a collaborative environment and was responsible for project-level governance including maintenance of risk, issues, assumptions, dependencies, lessons learnt and decision registers; facilitation of resolution for escalated project risks and issues; submission, tracking and reconciliation of all project financial expenditure; ensuring the Project Board had transparency and endorsement of all work packages; development and management of project plans, stage plans and schedules; management of project teams, program delivery and project resource allocation and role assignments.
The contract also required reporting of program progress to the Project Board through production of Project Status Reports and monthly Project Board Packs (if required), preparation of briefing notes and requested reporting for Senior Executive, and development of project initiation documents, options analysis, project estimations and other project commencement documentation as required.
The award focused on short-term, governance-heavy project management support (two PMs) emphasizing financial reconciliation, executive reporting and board-level transparency for the WA Police technology program.
