The program evaluated automation and robotics innovations for the Horticulture Innovation Australia project VG13113.
QMI Solutions Limited was tasked with performing process flow analyses on field and packing shed operations, applying methodologies from various industries to enhance efficiencies within the vegetable cropping systems.
Case studies were completed in Gatton, Bundaberg, and Bowen, with a focus on instilling Quality Assurance, Workplace Health & Safety, and Environmental Management protocols.
The program also included training local project staff to bolster knowledge and productivity in target regions.
