About
Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions awarded a contract to Indianic Group Pty Ltd for maintenance of sanctuary zone marker buoys and the existing zone marker network in the Ngari Capes Marine Park.
The network extended from Forrest Beach to Flinders Bay and included marker buoys that extended into the Commonwealth waters of Geographe Bay.
The marker buoy networks were located in the protected waters of Geographe Bay and Flinders Bay, comprising forty-three (43) buoys in Geographe Bay and six (6) buoys in Flinders Bay, and were used to indicate sanctuary zone boundaries to the boating public.
The award reflected routine operational maintenance of physical boundary markers in protected marine areas, indicating DBCA's ongoing asset-management focus for marine park conservation and public navigation.
