About
Department of Police, Fire and Emergency Management awarded a contract to Ericsson Australia Pty ltd for maintenance and fault response services for the Trunk Mobile Radio Network (TMRN).
The contract covered maintenance and fault-response activities for the TMRN, the radio network used by Tasmania Police for all police communications and also used by the State Emergency Services, TasNetworks and Hydro.
The procurement was run as the first stage of a two-stage selection process, with the EOI stage used to assess tenderers' resources, skills and experience and to shortlist candidates for a second-stage detailed response.
