About
Department of Health awarded a contract to AJR Construct Pty Ltd for Principal Contractor services for West Coast District Hospital Stage 2 (IS-782).
The Stage 2 works included installation of a new medication storage area, augmentation of an existing drug storage area, and services improvements to nurse call, CCTV and essential power.
The works required construction of a new suspended slab at the first storey level above an existing laundry and vehicle access area, and the extension connected to the existing building at the rear of the facility.
The scope supported increased capacity and the continued and expanded delivery of aged care services for Queenstown and the broader community.
