Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment awarded a contract to LG Valuation Services Pty Ltd for the provision of 2016 statutory valuation services for the Derwent Valley Municipal Area.

The supplier completed Fresh Valuations as at 1 July 2016 for three valuation bases — Land Value, Capital Value and Assessed Annual Value — including statistical analysis, reviews, investigations and inspections.

The contract required preparation of correspondence and reports arising from property owner objections and queries, and, where necessary, preparation of proofs of evidence for court-related actions.

The supplier also prepared and submitted project plans, documentation and regular reports.

The contract included an option to undertake Supplementary Valuations for the municipal area from the agreement date to 31 January 2017 on a fixed rate schedule of fees, including associated correspondence, reports and proofs of evidence as required.
