About
Department of Health (Royal Street) awarded a contract to Reo Group Professional Services (Reo Group WA Pty Ltd) for the provision of a Network Engineer as part of CHIIP Phase 2.
The contract related to CHIIP Phase 2, Stage 3 work to uplift end-of-life network infrastructure and address network infrastructure security vulnerabilities across more than 460 WA Health sites; to improve network reliability, further enhance patient care and safety, and enable digital initiatives including the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Program; and to address the Office of the Auditor General’s General Computer Control audit findings related to network security for all of WA Health.
CHIIP had commenced the total uplift of, and service transition to, a more contemporary network infrastructure with managed services support, and the uplift and service transition works were expected to continue for the next three years.
The contracted Network Engineer role required demonstrated expertise in proactively resolving issues and engaging effectively with stakeholders.
The award supported CHIIP Phase 2 Stage 3 by engaging a supplier to provide network engineering expertise to address audit findings and enable EMR and other digital initiatives across more than 460 WA Health sites.
