About

Public Transport Authority awarded a contract to Southern Bus Charters (Transit Link Pty Ltd) for the operation of the Albany Kendenup School Bus Service in the Great Southern region.

The contract covered provision of orange school-bus services transporting students in rural areas to and from designated collection points appropriate to each location’s infrastructure to their nearest schools, including links to metropolitan special education facilities.

The PTA retained responsibility for the policy and entitlement framework, system management and contract management for its statewide fleet of more than 800 school buses.

The service was scheduled to commence on 31-Jul-2024.
