Department of Logistics and Infrastructure awarded a contract to Bukmak Constructions Pty Ltd as The Trustee for Bukmak Constructions Trust for the provision of construction, demolition, refurbishment and upgrade works to Northern Territory Government infrastructure in Galiwinku under the Remote Housing Program.

The appointment covered a 36-month term and required delivery of works including construction of new and/or replacement Remote Community Housing assets and Government Employee Housing assets; demolition of various Remote Community Housing and/or Government Employee Housing structures; improvements, upgrades and refurbishments to those housing assets; extensions to existing Remote Community Housing and/or Government Employee Housing assets; and other ancillary works associated with delivery of the Northern Territory Government's Remote Housing Program in Galiwinku.

The contract established a long-term single-contractor arrangement to manage the listed scopes of work over the 36-month period.
