About

Department of Logistics and Infrastructure awarded a contract to Richard Mitchell Pty Ltd for the refurbishment and upgrade of a Government Employee Housing dwelling located at 5 Kinjo Place, Jabiru.

The works comprised building, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting and associated trade works to bring the dwelling up to current GEH housing standards, improve functionality and address maintenance and compliance requirements.

The contractor was required to supply all labour, materials, plant and equipment necessary to complete the works in accordance with project documentation, relevant Australian Standards and Northern Territory Government specifications; high-quality workmanship, compliance with work health and safety requirements, and minimisation of disruption to the surrounding community were specified.

The works were expected to commence 26/01/2026 with practical completion required by 26/05/2026.
