About
Department of Housing and Works awarded a contract to Solution Minds for the renewal of existing IBM Cognos Business Intelligence (BI) and TM1 software licences' support and maintenance subscription required by the Department of Finance.
The contract provided continued support and maintenance of IBM Cognos BI and TM1 licences until reports developed using those products were successfully transitioned and decommissioned to Finance’s preferred platform, Microsoft Azure.
The contract therefore covered ongoing licence support and maintenance services to preserve reporting capability during the migration and decommissioning process.
Renewals of legacy BI platform support are used to maintain reporting continuity during cloud migrations; such awards typically favour suppliers with proven IBM Cognos/TM1 support capability and experience in enterprise migration projects.
