About
Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions awarded a contract to Stem 2 Stern Marine (S2S Marine Services Pty Ltd) for the supply, installation, sea trials and commissioning of new outboard engines (350hp and above) on the vessel DK Coughran.
The contractor removed the existing two Suzuki DF325A engines (approximately 2200 hrs), provided trade-in valuation, carried out repowering and associated fit-out works as described in the request, and completed installation, sea trial and commissioning to the client's satisfaction.
The contract also included provision of aftersales servicing and maintenance 365 days a year.
Marine propulsion replacement contracts were awarded to a specialist marine service provider able to deliver supply, installation, commissioning, trade-in handling and year‑round maintenance, reflecting an emphasis on operational readiness and ongoing lifecycle support.
