About
Department of Transport and Main Roads awarded a contract to COLAS Queensland Pty Ltd for sealing works on the Bruce Highway, 20km south of Gin Gin.
The project involved a primer seal which included carting, heating, and spraying 11,000 litres of C170, supplying and incorporating 3 parts cutter, and hiring a spreader truck for approximately 30 hours during a visit in February 2016.
The second coat seal included supplying, carting, heating, and spraying 16,000 litres of S0.3B Polymer Modified Binder, loading, hauling, and spreading 115m3 of 14mm stone screenings, with traffic management services.
All works adhered to the current TMR Standard Specifications.
