About
Department of Economic Development, Tourism and the Arts awarded a contract to Screencorp Pty Ltd for the supply, installation and commissioning of a full‑colour scoreboard with video capability at the Silverdome.
The contract covered provision of the scoreboard hardware and accompanying software to operate as a scoreboard for multiple sports, including cycling, basketball and netball, and required full compatibility with the existing Omega timing system already installed in the venue.
The scope included supply, onsite installation and final commissioning to integrate the scoreboard with the Silverdome's timing infrastructure.
The requirement for multi-sport functionality and explicit compatibility with the existing Omega timing system indicated a turnkey systems-integration scope, making interoperability and AV/scoreboard integration key technical considerations for the award.
