About
Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania awarded a contract to Temple Rural Contracting Pty Ltd for works to supply and install twelve new Tasmanian devil pens, a Managed Environmental Enclosure (MEE), enclosures within the MEE and associated infrastructure, and to install orchard netting to perimeter fencing at the Five Mile Beach Wildlife Management Facility (NRET EHL 2026-07).
The works were required to deliver urgent H5N1 (High Pathogen Avian Influenza) preparedness infrastructure.
