About

Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania awarded a contract to Temple Rural Contracting for the supply and installation of secure perimeter fencing, upgrades to existing access tracks, construction of new access tracks and establishment of hardstand areas as part of the expansion of the Five Mile Beach Wildlife Management Facility at 200 Pittwater Road, Seven Mile Beach.

The facility footprint was extended to accommodate three sheds to house Tasmanian devils.

The works related to civil and landscaping construction and were identified as suitable for mid-to-large size landscaping contractors.

Related works for the construction and commissioning of up to three large sheds were managed under a separate Request for Quotation.

The contract required that the access track upgrades and perimeter fencing be completed before onsite work for the sheds could commence.
