Department of Mining and Energy awarded a contract to TROP WATER PTY LTD for the supply, delivery and installation of instrumentation to reinstate four out-of-service gauge stations along the East Branch of the Finniss River in Batchelor, Northern Territory (Rum Jungle).
The reinstatement ensured rehabilitation activities did not negatively impact the river’s health and enabled continuous monitoring of water quality and flow, including past the confluence with the Finniss River.
Bundling supply, delivery and installation for four sites indicated a turnkey, coordinated reinstatement across the river branch rather than piecemeal works, aligning scope with environmental monitoring needs at and beyond a confluence point.
