Northern Peninsula Area Regional Council is seeking a supplier to expand storage at the Bamaga Reservoir site. The site currently has 2 x 1.6ML concrete tanks that receive water via the Clear Water Pump Station at the Water Treatment Plant, and the Council requires an increase in supply by at least another 1.6ML with the top water level matching the existing reservoirs. This is a design and construct project where the design must be approved by Council before construction; design and planning are expected during the upcoming wet season with construction starting in May/June 2027. Level sensors and an outlet flow meter will be provided as part of the contract and Council will ensure these are integrated into its SCADA system.
