About

Public Transport Authority awarded a contract to Clean Room Garments a Division of ALSCO Pty Ltd (ALSCO Pty Ltd) for the supply, installation and maintenance of first aid kits, automatic external defibrillators (AEDs) and related first aid equipment for the PTA’s Network and Infrastructure (N&I) Division.

The contractor supplied equipment to various PTA buildings, facilities, depots and government-owned and leased vehicles and provided items appropriate to the nature of the work, hazards, location sizes and numbers of occupants.

The contractor implemented maintenance schedules that met manufacturer guidelines, Australian Industry Standards and the Safe Work Australia Code of Practice, and provided service delivery arrangements for scheduled and ad-hoc replacement or repair alongside a competitive pricing schedule for maintenance and ad-hoc services.

The contractor also provided suitably trained personnel who were equipped and self-sufficient to manage supply, installation and maintenance responsibilities.
