SAFECOM awarded a contract to Interfire Agencies for the supply of new structural helmets and associated accessories that were fit for purpose for structural firefighting operations for the Metropolitan Fire Service and Country Fire Service.
The contract required the helmets to be manufactured in accordance with the Australian/New Zealand Standard AS/NZS 4067:2012 – Protective helmets for structural firefighting, and covered provision of helmets and related accessories meeting that standard for operational use.
