About
ChemCentre awarded a contract to Agilent Technologies Australia Pty Ltd for the supply, delivery, commissioning, installation, service, and maintenance of one gas chromatograph mass spectrometer (GCMS) instrument.
The GCMS is to be installed in a new Emergency Response Mobile Laboratory deployed for hazardous materials (HAZMAT) and Chemical, Biological, and Radiological (CBR) emergency response incidents across Western Australia.
The instrument is used for screening and confirmation of Schedule 1, 2, and 3 chemicals as defined in the Chemical Weapons Convention.
This contract supports Western Australia's emergency preparedness by equipping a mobile lab with specialized analytical capabilities for chemical threat detection.
