Department of Health awarded a contract to Siemens Healthcare Pty Ltd trading as Siemens Healthineers for the supply, installation, operationalisation and maintenance of a suitably‑specified Computed Tomography (CT) machine for the new Royal Hobart Hospital Emergency Department Resuscitation Zone.
The procurement formed part of the broader Royal Hobart Hospital Emergency Department Expansion Project and required alignment and coordination with delivery of the Main Works Contract by the responsible Principal Contractor.
The contract included an annual maintenance agreement expected to be in place for an initial period of nine years, including an initial one‑year warranty period.
