About
East Metropolitan Health Service awarded a contract to Danish Patisserie (Cakes West Pty Ltd) for the supply of bakery products and fresh products for retail catering at Royal Perth Hospital and bakery products for patient catering at Royal Perth Hospital and Armadale Hospital Services.
The contract covers three categories: sushi products for retail outlets, freshly baked/prepared goods for retail outlets, and individually wrapped freshly baked bread rolls for patient breakfast.
The agreement is structured as a panel arrangement with orders placed on an as-required basis.
This contract highlights the trend of health services outsourcing specialized food supply to meet both retail and patient dietary needs, with a focus on fresh and individually wrapped items for hygiene and convenience.
