About
Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation and Safety awarded a contract to Objective RegTech Pty Limited for the delivery of a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution to replace legacy Work Health and Safety (WHS) business systems and support administration of the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and Dangerous Goods Safety Act 2004 across Western Australia.
The solution delivered functionality to manage regulatory compliance, enabled persons conducting a business or undertaking (PCBUs) and citizens to transact digitally with government, and formed a key element of the Compliance and Regulation System (CARS) Transformation Program.
The contract covered consolidation and standardisation of WHS regulatory functions across the WorkSafe Group service lines (General Industry, Mines Safety, Petroleum Safety and Dangerous Goods Safety) and replaced multiple disparate legacy ICT systems including the WorkSafe Information Systems Environment (WISE), the Safety Regulation System (SRS) and the Dangerous Goods Hazard Management System (HAZMAN).
The award consolidated multiple legacy WHS and dangerous goods systems into a single SaaS platform under the CARS Transformation Program, emphasising digital consolidation and standardisation of WorkSafe regulatory processes.
