Department of Fire and Emergency Services awarded a contract to CV Check Ltd for the provision of criminal history check (CHC) and employment screening services.

The contract covered pre-employment screening of employees and volunteers in accordance with DFES's CHC policy prior to commencement.

It required an authorised, qualified and cost‑effective external provider to deliver a single integrated CHC process that directed volunteers to obtain a DFES‑specific volunteer National Police Certificate (NPC) at DFES' expense, and a single integrated CHC process that directed current employees to obtain a DFES‑specific employee NPC at DFES' expense.
