About
Department of Police, Fire and Emergency Management awarded a contract to Hellweg International Pty Ltd for the supply of a Multiuse Integrated Protection Vest (MIPV) and suitable hard armour plates.
The contract covered provision of a compulsory MIPV for all operational members to supersede the current issue of Load Bearing Vests (LBVs) and Ballistic Vests, delivering ballistic and spike protection and incorporating load-carriage capabilities while members were on duty.
