About
Western Australia Police Force awarded a contract to Alcolizer Perth (ALCOLIZER PTY LTD) for the provision of self-contained urine test cups.
These products are designed to deliver an instant presumptive result within 10 minutes and are capable of being divided into two separate samples for further testing at a lab accredited by the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA).
The WA Police Force utilizes approximately 5,000 test cups annually for random and targeted workplace drug and alcohol testing, in line with the Police Force (Member Testing) Regulations 2011 and related employee policies.
Testing is also conducted on Security Agents under relevant legislation and regulations.
