Power and Water Corporation awarded a contract to Alliance Power and Data Pty Ltd for system strength studies across the Darwin-Katherine, Alice Springs, and Tennant Creek regulated networks.
The studies aimed to forecast system strength considering proposed renewable generation and displacement of existing synchronous generators, and to recommend options for maintaining system security in line with the Network Technical Code.
