(inactive) Department of Treasury and Finance - Albany Office awarded a contract to Urban Resources (Urban Resources Pty Ltd) for topsoil stripping, transport, and re-spreading to support rehabilitation of Banksia woodland within 45km of Jandakot airport.
The project involved harvesting topsoil from approximately 20ha at Jandakot Airport and re-spreading it at several locations to assist revegetation.
This contract supports ecological restoration through topsoil transfer, a technique often used to preserve native seed banks and soil biota.
