About

Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania awarded a contract to CSIRO for updating and restarting a water quality model for Storm Bay.

The model, originally developed by CSIRO in 2020, informs regulatory decisions on salmon farming management in the bay.

The update was critical to ensure the model remained fit for purpose.
