About

Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration awarded a contract to GHD Pty Ltd for a Work Health and Safety (WHS) audit and framework integration for its Abandoned Mines Program (AMP).

The contract engaged GHD to conduct a WHS audit, support the continual improvement of the AMP WHS Framework by addressing gaps identified through the initial audit and framework development process, and integrate the revised framework with AMP’s existing WHS procedures, governance arrangements and operational practices.

The engagement also focused on strengthening risk management, contractor performance monitoring and project delivery mechanisms within the AMP.
