For government · Beta
Supplier intelligence for government buyers
Know who has done the work and what it cost before you go to market. Built on contracts already awarded across government. It is in beta and opening to a small number of agencies first.
In beta. Access is arranged with your agency. A .gov.au email is needed.
Who has done the work
Supplier profiles built from the award record: who has delivered this kind of work, for which buyers and at what scale. Filter by category, region and business type.
Suppliers are ordered by their award history. Paying GovMarket does not move a supplier up or down.
What it has cost
Price benchmarks from comparable contracts: the median award, the middle half of awards, and the contracts behind each figure.
Checked, not just claimed
Award history comes from public registers. When a company adds to its profile, every fact says where it came from: checked by GovMarket against a document, or declared by the company.
Ownership is proven
A company confirms it owns its profile through its work email, and we match its .au domain against the domain register. A person at GovMarket approves every claim.
Facts are checked against documents
Insurance and certificates are marked as checked only after we compare them with the document itself. Everything else is shown as declared by the company.
Checks do not go stale quietly
Insurance needs an expiry date. If a company edits a checked fact, it goes back to declared until we check it again.
Documents stay private
Certificates are not public. You ask for a copy, the company approves it, and every download is logged.
A shortlist and a file
Save suppliers to a shortlist shared within your agency. A PDF of who can do the work and what it has cost, for the procurement file.
Made to stand up in a procurement file.
Your activity stays private
What you look up, view and shortlist is held in a separate system. Suppliers cannot see it.
For research, not for buying
It informs your market research. Your approach to market still runs through your own process and rules.

Are you a supplier?
If your company has won government work, it probably has a page here built from its award history. Claim it to add a contact, the regions you serve and your insurance, ready for when buyers start using this.
