Department of Transport and Main Roads-Central Qld is seeking a supplier for the Claude River floodway and road upgrade on 87A Dawson Developmental Road, with bids closing on 10 December 2026.
Works are in two sections. SP1 from Ch 144.600 km to Ch 146.708 km covers about 2.1 km of upgraded sealed roadway, a reinforced concrete floodway crossing, pavement, cross-drainage replacement, a temporary sidetrack, earthworks, environmental controls and road infrastructure. SP2 from Ch 115.000 km to Ch 172.000 km delivers safety improvements focused on new regulatory and warning signage.
