About
Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) is seeking Expressions of Interest from Market Participants or prospective Market Participants to identify the availability, location and readiness of facilities that can provide System Restart Service across the SWIS. AEMO invites submissions for facilities able to commence System Restart Service from 23 October 2028 (EOI Part 1) or to commence only after October 2030 (EOI Part 2), and welcomes EOIs for existing or proposed facilities with different technology configurations; previous engagements indicate additional existing or new facilities may be capable subject to necessary site works, testing and lead times. Closing date: 09 November 2026, 05:00 PM (UTC+08:00) Perth time.
