About
Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) is seeking a supplier for a System Restart Service (SRS) for the North Metro sub-network of the South West Interconnected System (SWIS) in Western Australia. The SRS must be delivered from a Registered Facility with an energy-producing system that can start without requiring energy to be supplied from a Network to assist in re-energising the SWIS after a system shutdown or major supply disruption. Submissions are open to Market Participants capable of providing SRS in the North Metro sub-network, with service commencement on 1 April 2027 and a contract term of five years (shorter durations may be considered). Technical capability must meet the requirements set out in the WEM System Restart Standard.
