About

Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service is seeking a principal contractor to design and construct the BHH Ridley Refurbishment to deliver a flexible subacute care unit that can accommodate multiple interim and operational uses ahead of the opening of the New Toowoomba Hospital. Potential uses include DDH staff digital training and NTH familiarisation, a decant ward for Toowoomba Hospital Building 20 Medical Unit 5 (23-bed subacute inpatient unit) to enable separately funded fire compliance upgrades, and a decant ward for Building 23 Rehabilitation (26-bed subacute inpatient unit) to enable separately funded fire compliance upgrades.
