The Commonwealth is seeking contributors for the Operational Energy Transitions Defence Research Centre (OET DRC) to outline research expertise, capability and facilities that align with five OET DRC research themes: Dispersed Energy Access at the Tactical Edge, Sustainment Under Contested Conditions, Resilient and Scalable Forward Energy Systems, Enabling Next‑Generation High‑Power and High‑Consumption Capabilities, and Extended Endurance and Reduced Logistic Dependence. This request for information (RFI) aims to understand market capability and potential suppliers interested in low Technology Readiness Level research that advances new knowledge, develops emerging concepts or prototypes, and can contribute to future Defence capability outcomes; respondents are invited to describe their research strengths and propose unique or novel research and technology approaches to enable practical solutions under these themes. This RFI is separate from the Lead Partner RFT process.
