The City of Greater Dandenong is seeking a suitably qualified design-and-construct contractor to deliver the Light Up Buckingham feature-lighting project on Buckingham Avenue near Multicultural Place in Springvale. The preferred concept comprises four illuminated structural support pillars carrying a large suspended circular halo above the roadway. The contractor will be responsible for site investigations, multidisciplinary detailed design, engineering certification, permits and approvals, fabrication and supply, civil and electrical works, installation, testing, commissioning, training and handover, and provision of programmable colour-changing LED lighting with an automated lighting-control system for civic occasions, celebrations, festivals and normal night-time operation.
